R&D – Water Simulation

Conducting a liquid simulation test with Chaos Phoenix, compatible with Chaos Corona 9.
Highlighting our expertise

Showcasing: Realistic Water Simulation

We aimed to explore and acquire the knowledge of creating highly realistic water animations. This experiment proved to be both challenging and educational for us.

Case

Briefing:
Create a scene with water simulation

Demonstrating the behavior of water and attaining realism is the objective.

Behaviour of Water

Demonstrate the dynamics of water splashing and the resultant wave formations.

Realistic Rendering

The animation should inspire a genuine and authentic feel, aiming for a level of realism akin to Hollywood standards.

WIP:
Scene created from briefing

We explored how water behaves and got the hang of using Chaos Phoenix through a bunch of different experiments.

Feedback: Educational insight

We looked into how water behaves and grasped the technique of simulating it.

Feedback: Plugin Chaos Fhoenix

Mastered the use of Chaos Phoenix through various experiments. It's a fantastic tool for achieving outstanding results, although it significantly increases render time.

Final Result

We created the scene according to the given briefing. During the Work in Progress (WIP) phases, we actively participated in internal meetings and conducted thorough research. Every piece of feedback was carefully integrated. The images below showcase the final deliverables.
